Directly now delivers a fully localized experience in Simplified Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish, so you can offer on-demand customer service around the world.
Experts around the globe solve and answer questions with the help of Directly's apps, which detect the language a customer uses to ask a question and then directs the question to certified experts in that language. The outcome is happy users all over the world.
But we wanted to do better. We wanted to provide full localized experience to the people with questions and the experts who help them so little language barriers won't get in the way of a great experience.
The solution? We are happy to introduce a fully translated user interface. So not only does the customer get the answer in a local language but all the product UI, instructions, rating prompts and more are localized.
This was a more complicated task than simply word-for-word translation for different languages. The wording and images take into account local culture and usage. And the technical challenges include accounting for odd behavior such as text expansion of western languages.
The result is an experience that goes beyond translation to appeal to consumers' preferences, and when done well, it's something they might not even notice because it feels so natural.
Today, Directly supports the languages mentioned above -- Simplified Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish -- and we expect to add more as our customers expand the reach of their on-demand customer service programs.
So drop us a line, in any language, and we'll respond promptly.
